Ecuador’s inflation rate in February at 0.20%

Quito, March 6 (Andes). - Ecuador reported an inflation of 0.20% in February while the accumulated reached 0.29% and the annual 0.96% according to the last report of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) released by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC).

Guayaquil and Esmeraldas are the cities that reported the greatest inflation rate with 0.50% and 0.40% respectively, while Manta with -0.02% and Quito with 0.01% reported the lowest inflation rates.

In February, the price of the Basic foods basket was 708.52 dollars and the monthly family income with 1.6 perceptors was 700 dollars.
